A story worth sharing

It was in a small butcher’s shop in Bolton, in 1982, that Tim Pollitt Butcher’s first started serving the local community with prime meat products. Over the next 40 years that small butcher’s shop has flourished to become one of the leading catering butchers and purveyor of quality meats in the North West.

We now proudly serve a large and valued customer base of wholesale, catering and retail clientele from a large range of business sectors - such as frozen and fresh ready-made meal manufacturers, Food Service Groups, Catering Management Companies, nurseries/schools/colleges, residential & nursing homes, restaurants, bakeries and health bars.

TPB Foods now operates out of a large, purpose-built site consisting of a fully approved EC cutting plant, cold store, meat preparations factory and Head Office in Bolton, with our own fleet of refrigerated vehicles, enjoying easy access to motorway networks, to deliver carefully selected prime product from our door to yours.

Our Promise To The Planet

“Our planet is our home and TPB Foods are committed to protecting it! We pro-actively look for suppliers and partners who are caretakers to the welfare of their farm animals and of their land, who source sustainable materials and practice eco-friendly processes and procedures. In a nutshell, we want to work with business partners who recognise that the success of the next generation is dependent on the sustainability measures of today.”

Our promise to the planet doesn’t just apply to our product, it extends to practices here at TPB Head Office also - ensuring we work with the most economical energy suppliers, that our packaging partners are committed to supporting sustainability through use of bio-degradable materials where possible; that we source environmentally friendly office products; and re-use and recycle waste appropriately.

TPB Foods will continue to play their part and contribute to ensuring the meat industry as a whole supports sustainability, helping to secure a long-term future for the production of prime meat produce.

Sustainability Statement

We want to work with suppliers who work with nature - not against it. TPB support sustainable suppliers who use eco-system-based approaches and infrastructures, holistic grazing methods and chemical alternative production practices, who believe in a long-term view of industry impact on natural resources and the commodities we work with.

“I like to think my 15 years of service brings a wealth of knowledge & expertise to our ‘tailor-made’ offering, to help deliver exactly what our customers need.”
